Home Run - Original Song - Since I’ve been writing so many depressing songs lately when I came across this original I wrote years ago I thought I’d bring it out of the wood work. last night I was debating leaning into you. 
I froze, I couldn’t stop creating 
the dream that we were dating I didn’t follow through. 
Maybe I should have gone with something sweet.
But I glaced at you and then I got cold feet. 

I fear I’m getting bolder as I think my chance is done.
Maybe I’ll find the courage to speak love notes off my tongue. 
A chance to be charmer, who deserves things that they’ve won. 
It’s all or none, be my home run. 

It’s tricky how when we don’t know, 
it makes affection seem to grow. 
Make believe friends verses being shut down.
Hating the thought of her leaving your town. 
What if when your fear gives way, she still decides to stay.
